Shopping, for a lady is a way to release tension (applicable to all) but for a guy, shopping is boring (except for some people)!!. I just coming back from shopping at the local mall. I'm quite surprise with the offer displayed. Discount up to 70%!!. Everything is branded items from shirt to bags, shoes and wallets...everything is cheap (I can say). To tell the truth, I feel happy when choosing and picking the items, but feel regretted after that. Anyway, I don't care about that feeling because I already pay for it.
In economy, shopping is consider as a good activity to boost local spending and hence stimulate domestic demand. (I think so, although I learn it before!!). If you spending less, result in less demand and production becoming low and vice versa, my advise, go and spend more to help our economy!!! However, certain people have the perception that the economy is turning upside down, market crush therefore, they tend to be more cautious in spending. It's true, better late than never. But if not spending, economy would not growth. How to solve it!! (Need to ask our economics lecturer on this).
In conclusion, please spending (when economy is recovering!!) and be smart customer when choosing the items. Another thing, go and watch Confession Of A Shopaholic acted by Isle Fisher, she's totally awesome.
