Between Rojak and Cendol...

Have you ever try cendol and rojak in Section 15 Subang Jaya? The exact location is near Subang Jaya Mosque. I am cendol lover and love to drink it especially during hot time. One think I love in particular when drinking cendol is the black sugar poring on the ice...so intriguing (until I lick my mouth)..In Selangor alone, there are many cendol stalls around. If I can recall, I have been into several places just to drink cendol like in Petaling Jaya, Gombak, Selayang, Shah Alam, etc..Although the appearance of the cendol is the same, I still stand on the fact that the taste and ingredient could be varied from one places to another. Some places put corn and jelly grass in it but other don't. Whatever it is, cendol is still top in my list when I'm looking for desert...:)

Beside cendol, I also love to eat rojak there (in Section 15, Subang Jaya). I like to order rojak plus sotong (cuttlefish). Among the main ingredients that commonly put into rojak are cucumber, bean, curd, egg, potatoes and etc. Additional things like cuttlefish and noodle are consider 'side dish' if you want to...If you see around, mamak stall always serve rojak as main dishes in the menu and everybody like it (spirit of 1Malaysia..hehehe). The taste of rojak is solely depends on the taste of gravy (agree or not?). If the gravy taste a bit sour, then the whole rojak turn sour...Usually the gravy is spicy..so, to balance it, you need to order the cendol...

So, if you like both cuisines, why not share your experience about it. Maybe, you also could recommend to me where is the best place to eat both as I'm a food lover...Bon appetit!!!

** both pictures are taken from Flickr (I think they also love rojak and cendol!!!)
